Autumn is probably my favourite season. Sure it's not about the weather - Autumn in Belgium is usually rain, rain and more rain, which is kind of depressing. - but it's hard to dwell on that when the streets are colourful and it's finally cold enough to snuggle up in your favourite sweater or hide under a blanket with a cup of hot tea after a long day. There is something about autumn that screams 'just relax'.

Around this time of the year I am always excited to pick outfits. I'm sure 1/4 of my wardrobe is meant for when it gets colder. When I came to Finland I brought a wide selection of warm clothing so I could mix and match.

That's why I want to show you some of my favourite outfits of the moment. I'm all about wearing black these days - well, when am I not, maybe that's the real question. Hopefully I can find the time to take outfit pictures soon so you can see the outfits in action too :-) fingers crossed it'll happen.

First is an outfit I wear when it's not too cold outside. My outfits have to be comfy no matter what, so I just pair some black skinny jeans with a knit jumper. I also like to wear my leather jacket. Leather jackets are great because they are wind-proof, but they're still stylish. For shoes I've been loving my new burgundy Vans. The thick sole helps to keep my feet warm on the cold ground and again these are just super comfy. I top it off with a chunky scarf, a hat and some jewelry.

Another favourite of mine is the parka coat. Needless to say I wear it all the time during autumn and winter, again paired with some skinny jeans and possibly a flannel shirt. I bought a new flannel shirt from H&M last week; the fabric is soft and warm, perfect for this time of the year. Boots are necessary on cold winter days so I'll be wearing those often. The boots I have aren't as cool as these ones, unfortunately! Finally, for makeup I like to keep things simple, as usual. I focus on perfecting my foundation and keep the rest neutral. But I will be showing you my makeup routine in detail later so keep your eyes peeled for that!

It has been too long since I've done a "How I'd wear..." article! To be honest, I love writing these but I feel like something is missing. I wish I could show you some outfits I wear myself. Unfortunately I'm not really the kind of person that likes (or knows how) to pose in front of a camera. But maybe I'll convince myself to just go for it soon.

Again based on my own interests fashion wise. I like my outfits simple but slightly upgraded with accessories. Theme of today is 'sporty chic'. I've seen many fashion bloggers turn simple outfits into something badass just by adding some killer heels or bright lipstick. Here's my thoughts on the subject.

This is my favourite of all three outfits.

I have learned to love Nike's Air Max 1 sneakers not so long ago (I used to hate them, who knew?) and I feel like they can be worn with so many different styles. As you can see, I added a Lip Stylo from Hourglass Cosmetics to the set as I'm so so curious about them. When I discovered the brand, I found nothing but positive reviews about the Hourglass lipsticks so I'm eager to try them when I get the chance!

The name Norse Projects may not ring a bell, but I've been fascinated by this brand for years. Too bad their shirts/sweaters are so expensive, if not I would've definitely purchased some by now (this makes me sound horrible, I know, if I really wanted it, then I would save the money).

I also found these rad Puma wedge sneakers just now. I don't know about their quality but I think they'd be worth the buy for 90$.

Not much to say about this outfit. And I want to call myself a writer one day, haha! As I wrote earlier in this post, I like to upgrade a simple outfit with some rad accessories and I believe this is one of those perfect examples; sporty shorts from Adidas with a pair of beautiful heels from Zara and a bit of colour - the nail polish - to contrast the black and white. Mission accomplished.
