As much as we hate to admit it, the holiday season is long gone. With the start of 2015 began the countdown to Valentine's Day. I don't celebrate Valentine's, but every year I'm thrilled to see what Lush Cosmetics have in store for us! As expected they have released a collection full of divine-smelling, skin-nourishing goodies. One product that really stood out for me is the Heart Throb bubbleroon. I paired its warm scent with Rose Jam - a limited edition shower gel from the Christmas collection - to create a dreamy, sensuous bath.

The Rose Jam shower gel offers a mix of floral and fruity scents. Think roses, vanilla pod, goji berries and lemon oil. It also contains argan oil, which hydrates and protects skin. I did find that the fragrance of this can be a bit overwhelming at times, but then again, it is a shower gel so you'll be left with a more subtle lingering scent after washing the product off.

Heart Throb is a bright red, French inspired bubble bar that is way too cute to ignore - at least for me it was hard to step away from the bubbleroon tray. It was designed after the famous macaron cookie, with a golden glittery 'cream' holding together the two heart-shaped layers. Splitting the product in half so you can enjoy more than one bath is perfectly possible. Crumble it under a running tap and it will make a lovely bubble bath. The aroma really is something else... Lush used vanilla, ylang ylang and geranium essentials oils to help you relax, while shea butter will make your skin silky soft.

Heart Throb and Rose Jam are limited edition. However, there is no reason to panic if you've missed them. Heart Throb should be available in Lush stores and online until Valentine's Day. The African Paradise body conditioner is a great alternative if you like the scent. And for fans of Rose Jam, I'm afraid we'll have to wait until next Autumn for the shower gel to be restocked (do we really??), but there is also a bubble bar version that has the popular Rose Jam fragrance or you could get the Ro's Argan body moisturizer, which is another Lush favourite of mine.

What is the perfect formula for a relaxing bath to you?
