I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately. It's nothing serious, but sometimes I let things get to me when I shouldn't and it's not always that easy to just 'get over it'. So, after a stressful day last week I headed into town to pick up some bath goodies. Lush have a bubble bar that will 'wrap you in a big comforting hug', so I thought I'd give it a go!

You read that right. I have gone mad and I blame it on pretty lipstick. It's one extreme to the other. Weeks after telling you I've joined the dark side, i.e. declaring my love for dark lipstick, I have another confession to make - yes, already! By the time I'd gotten used to the look of a 'vampy' lip, an exciting package delivery from vegan & cruelty free makeup brand Lime Crime arrived. Inside were 3 of their opaque lipsticks. While my friend's picks were a classic red and the daring black Styletto, I chose Centrifuchsia, a crazy colour I would've avoided determinedly not long ago.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved wearing nail polish. Taking the time to put a fun colour on my nails while I'm catching up on episodes of my favourite tv show can be so relaxing. As a true fanatic, it's no surprise I'm constantly finding new polishes to add to my collection. (The big white box in the background is actually filled with polish bottles!)

This beauty has been sitting in my makeup drawer for months now, I can't believe I hadn't written about it before! Cranberry is one of those eyeshadows I was always drawn to whenever I'd visit the MAC Pro store, but couldn't bring myself to purchase because I had no idea what to do with it. After some advice from a couple MUA-to-be friends and of course the ladies at MAC, I decided to go for it. Cranberry went home with me and I can tell you we get along fine now!
