I stumbled upon these illustrations by Grace Ciao today and I am stunned. Grace is a fashion illustrator from Singapore, and she's designed a collection by arranging flower petals into beautiful floral dresses. I find it so original and her creations definitely look elegant.
My art knowledge is pretty much zero, so unfortunately I can't tell you more about Grace's work, or show you anything similar, but sometimes when you find something that stands out, you just have to share it.
